About this Certification
Discover a systematic approach to enterprise transformation to promote engagement, gain adoption and enable a lean agile culture.
Co-creating Transformations is a feedback-driven approach to manage transformation in rapidly evolving environments, and provides a set of values and practices to include those impacted into the design of the transition. It has been proven in enterprises of various sizes, non-profit organizations and government agencies, helping groups shift towards a sustainable and continual change mindset.

Discover more effective practices for introducing and managing transformation in your organization, empowering teams to move towards an entrepreneurial agility mindset. Apply feedback-driven co-creation to change behaviors, empower informal social networks, distribute decision making, align strategic need with organizational capability, and affect real impact onto the organization.

Particular attention is given to the relationship between strategical assumptions and the capacity for the teams to operate the new value delivery mechanisms. By abstracting through interventions, change teams are capable of equally managing agile and non-agile transformations.

With case studies and examples from the energy, safety and insurance industries, non-profit museums, governmental agencies, and technological startups we investigate how co-created transformation can be used to manage a distributed change team to achieve true Business Agility.

ICP-CAT

ICAgile Certified Professional - Coaching Agile Transitions

This workshop covers strict learning objectives set forth by ICAgile. After participative attendance and the completion of the post-workshop requirements, the facilitator qualifies participants to become an ICAgile Certified Professional in Coaching Agile Transitions (ICP-CAT). If the facilitator identifies a lack of achievement of the learning objectives, additional post-workshop materials may need to be submitted before certification. The certification process does not rely on testing, relying instead on active participation and engagement with the material. The certification is included in the price of the course.

This continuing education certification is a key step toward achieving the ICAgile Certified Expert -Enterprise Agile Coaching (ICE-EC) designation the industry’s first competence-based certification for Enterprise Agile Coaching.

What is co-created transformation?

Co-created Transformations is a systematic approach to enterprise transformation that leverages lessons learned from lean-agile environments to enable a de-centralized transition process where every participant becomes an active change agent. It provides reliable scalability, tracking, measurement and reporting of the change program at the enterprise level while supporting individuals and teams in making localized continuous innovation.

Transitions are managed through agile interventions, which validate multiple transformational experiments against a single strategical assumption - allowing a coherent management structure to oversee the entire program. Change becomes strategically targeted iterations driven by the teams, who experiment with better ways of working and identify which practices fit their environment.

If you are involved in an enterprise transformation, this workshop is for you.

Also, anyone with a strong background in change management and/or organizational design and a curiosity about agile approaches at the enterprise level will benefit from this certification.

A different kind of change

At this point, you must have realized that you can’t change other people. What you can change is your own behavior and the influence you have over others. Our approach is based on Lean Agile principles, blended with some of the traditional change models and embellished with cool brain science. It takes an entire new perspective on the focus of control of change. Instead of controlling the outcomes, it focuses on the learning accumulated through rigorous lean experimentation.

Co-created Transformation embraces an adaptive approach to change, since experimentation reflects our natural learning. And all transitions should be about delivering value, not about brainwashing people! We embrace the simple truths: you can’t control the way people are going to respond to change, and people are more likely to be happy if they have a hand in designing the change.

This kind of empowerment to “change outside of the box” is exactly what co-created transformations are all about. To recognize organizations as social networks which are complex adaptive systems, which will kill the spirit and produce frustration if members feel hollow and devoid of meaning. No matter whether you are a human resources manager, scrum master, product owner, software developer or writer, you will leave empowered to change your organization for the better.

Format

We abide by the “hands-on” method of learning, where each concept is studied as a module that contains theory, practice, and discussion. Regardless of the length of the workshop, these are intense days of collaborative activities where you will learn by doing, sharing and discussing findings in small groups.

Unless explicitly indicated, our events include all you need for a day of intense mental activity: coffee, snacks, lunch, and plenty of breaks. We choose only prime locations to conduct events in, and strive to provide the best experience possible. It is a safe environment where we have fun and come out with plenty to talk about.
