Human resources (HR) is the division of a business that is charged with various aspects of employment, such as compliance with labor law and employment standards, administration of employee benefits, organizing of employees files with the required documents for future reference. It is often the department in charge of recruitment (also known as talent acquisition), overseeing finding, screening, recruiting, and training job applicants. It is also in charge of employee "off-boarding" (the separation process when an employee leaves the company).
